The April 12 show will also feature a [...]]]> Our residency at the Makeout Room continues and we’re proud to have the wonderful Lavay Smith singing with us on our next few dates there. Lavay will be with us on April 12 (Easter Sunday) and again on May 10th; the shows start at 8pm and cost $7.

The April 12 show will also feature a fantasic big band, The Fil Lorenz Orchestra, led by our baritone saxophinist Fil Lorenz. They will be bringing the hard-swing with Wil Blades on Hammond B3 instead of piano that evening. This show is part of our ongoing mission to feature jazz bands with a strong vision, deep swing and visionary arrangements.
